Bookings Terms and Conditions
All accepted bookings are subject to the terms and conditions explained below. By making a booking with us, you are accepting that the following terms and conditions apply.
Prices provided are subject to availability. Prices quoted are all-inclusive of GST.
Melbourne Star Chauffeured Cars are not liable in the event of a mechanical breakdown while on charter and will only be responsible for making up lost time at a mutually agreed date. The client assumes full financial liability for any damage to the limousine caused during the duration of the rental, be it by the client or any member of the clients’ party. Melbourne Star Chauffeured Cars are not liable for any damages or loss elicited by the deed, negligence or error of any supplier or another third party. Under circumstances where liability is unable to be excluded, liability is limited to the value of the clients’ purchase. If a client has made a booking with Melbourne Star Chauffeured Cars and is unable to locate the Chauffeur and chooses not to contact us, the client will be liable for the full transfer cost.
If you wish to make any changes to your booking after the booking has been officially confirmed, these changes can only be accepted subject to availability. Melbourne Star Chauffeured Cars reserves the right to charge any additional fees which may apply as a result of the changes.
Extended Times/Additional Routing Instructions
Overtime will apply after the first 15 minutes of the pre-scheduled time organized and displayed on the official booking confirmation. The client is responsible in the event of any charges incurred in relation to the extra time required for a booking that has exceeded the confirmed schedule. Any extra stops required that were not confirmed and settled at the time of placing the booking will incur extra charges.
Melbourne Star Chauffeured Cars do not issue refunds or exchanges on any bookings except as otherwise specified by the seller. If a refund is issued, Melbourne Star Chauffeured Cars may retain any booking fees charged. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether or not travel has commenced. Special event bookings such as but not limited to, “Grand Prix, Spring Carnival, New Year’s Eve, Christmas Day, Avalon Air Show, Australian Open and AFL Grand Final, Weddings, Tours, On hold bookings” will incur in 100% cancellation charges of the total cost of the booking whether the booking is cancelled entirely or partially.
When making a booking for a wedding or special event, Melbourne Star Chauffeured Cars requires a 50% non-refundable deposit on the day the booking is placed and the remainder is required one week prior to the day of the booking.
